command
enables you to use an editor other than the system editor when editor has been specified as the value for the options drawing_file_editor and/or family_table_editorand/or relation_file_editor.
the command specified will be executed as it is typed in the config.pro file. if the editor command specified does not automatically open up a new window, the editor may be opened in the original system window used to launch pro/e.
the editor must be able to import files using the following syntax:
<editor_command> <filename>
microsoft excel cannot be used as a relations editor because of this requirement.
the variable command is a user-defined editor command. if this command is not found, an error message displays and the system editor is used.
for example, setting the command to emacs invokes the emacs editor wherever editor has been specified.
