if you want to save an object, and the config option save_objectsis set to changedor changed_and_specified, pro/engineer checks to see which models have actually been changed, in order to form a list of models to save.
yesopro/engineer considers any model that is a parent of a changed model to be itself a changed model for the purpose of determining what to save.
