specifies the type of plotter handshake initialization sequence generated in the plotter files. for each of the two modes the host computerM-^Rs data port must be set appropriately:
software handshake mode is xon/xoff.
hardware handshake mode requires hardware control.
if more information is required about software/ hardware handshaking, consult your system manager.
