enables you to set a maximum allowable deviation between the original and the resulting surfaces during the conversion of pro/engineer surfaces to spline surfaces. for example, for iges this conversion occurs only when the iges_out_all_srfs_asoption is set to 114. for catia and vda, this conversion always occurs.
setting the maximum deviation enables you to convert surfaces with a better approximation than what you get by using the current model accuracy.
specify a positive value in the current model units to set the deviation. if the value that you specify is outside the acceptable range, the system uses the default model accuracy.
